A Joyful Summer Wedding at Newland Hall in Essex
Carla and Tom’s wedding at the beautiful Newland Hall in Essex was an absolute delight to photograph. Held in August last year, their special day was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments from start to finish.
I started the day capturing Tom and his groomsmen, and we had so much fun taking some great shots of the boys with guns — a playful and unique touch that perfectly reflected their energy and excitement. Soon after, I made my way to the bridal suite when Carla arrived. The bridal suite at Newland Hall is one of my absolute favorites. It’s spacious, bright, and offers so many perfect spots for capturing stunning and intimate moments.
The outdoor ceremony couldn’t have been more perfect. The weather was absolutely beautiful, with the sun shining down as Carla and Tom exchanged their vows surrounded by family and friends. The love and happiness in the air made every moment feel magical.
After the ceremony, we took advantage of the breathtaking grounds for some couple portraits. The natural beauty of Newland Hall provided a stunning backdrop, and I captured some truly wonderful shots of the newlyweds, filled with love and joy.
The reception kicked off with speeches that were both entertaining and heartfelt, sparking plenty of laughter and happy tears. As the evening went on, the dance floor came alive with endless dancing and joy — the perfect end to an incredible day.
