About
"Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything."
From an early age, I have always loved taking photos of everything around me and was never shy about striking a pose in front of the camera.
Having had a professional photoshoot done for myself, a happy thought occurred to me that I would love to learn how to become a photographer myself. That way, I could help any client discover their inner beauty and feel great about themselves.
As a portrait photographer, I have done a variety of photoshoots for different purposes - modelling portfolios, personal branding, family portraits, pregnancy and newborns.
Wedding photography was the natural successor to portrait work. It is a privilege to be entrusted with a couple’s cherished dreams on their special day and be the person responsible for bringing those dreams to reality.
As a rule, couples fall in love long before their wedding day. I fall in love with weddings every time I am asked to attend one: capturing all the little details through the smiles and tears to tell the story of the day is a creative process, and a very rewarding one. Through my images you relive the bride's excitement on the morning of the wedding, the sparkling eyes of the groom before he sees her for the first time and as they share their first kiss as man and wife. And as the years pass, all those special moments will be fondly revisited through these images. It’s my job to ensure the photographic record is as good as it can be.
Getting things perfect means planning and equipment at the ready for every eventuality. I have everything in my car, from the set of umbrellas and light reflectors to a mini step ladder that enables me to take a photo of a big wedding party. I shoot with two camera bodies, and I have a spare one in my car just in case. Backup on top of jam. I never run out of batteries or memory cards on the wedding day because I have plenty.
Touch wood, I have never missed a wedding through illness. In the worst-case scenario, I have a great network of talented photographers I can contact.
Photography is not just a job to me...it's my true passion and I'm constantly learning something new. Studying the work of some of the world’s most talented photographers keeps me on top of my game, it’s a very absorbing field and I love it all.
A little more about me
Originally from Ukraine, England became my second home 11 years ago when I moved here
I love photographing pets and I have two perfect models living with me -my cat Basil and rabbit, Snuggles.
I'm a big foodie and I love going to fancy restaurants and trying new dishes. My favourite cuisine is Japanese and when entertaining friends, my signature dish is seafood risotto.
Cosy evenings at home with a glass of wine and a good film help me unwind, and when time permits, I do enjoy a spa day too.
